Brandywine Print and Play
Here are the files for the game to download. You will have to have the files printed and glue and cut the counters. The Game Maps file contains the four sections of the map. Each section of the map is 11 inches by 14 inches. The Germantown map is set up the same way. You may have to go to a print shop to have the maps printed out. Load the map file and other files that you want on a flash drive and take to the print shop. Have the maps and charts printed on the heaviest stock paper you can get. The files of the charts and counters are 8 and one half by 11 inches. Good quality ink makes a big difference. I wrote some tips for making the counters at the bottom of the page. Print out a few extra copies of the American and British files for making counters. If you like the game and would like to you can make a donation of any amount equal to or above one dollar through PayPal.

Tips for making the counters....
If you want you could cut the counters out of just paper to start out. Print the counters on the heaviest paper you can.
You will need some pieces of thin fairly stiff cardboard and white glue. I have been using the cardboard covers off of school notebooks. The cardboard is about right for making counters but you have to cover the backside of the counters because of the printing on the cardboard. I have been using pieces of black posterboard for covering the backside. Take a copy of the American and British Order of Battle charts and carefully cut them in half, horizontally. Trim off most of the excess paper around the counters. Cut out pieces of cardboard just a little bigger than the counter sheets. Apply glue to the cardboard and brush out all the excess glue so there is just a thin layer. Put the counter sheets on the cardboard and smooth out the paper. Use some paper weights on the cardboard while it dries to keep it from warping too much. After it dries glue on the back side of the counter sheets and let dry. Carefully cut out the counters using the outlines of each piece as a guide. Heavy duty scissors and a glove helps a lot.
