1800's Battle of Waterloo Game Map and Files.
Here is a file you can have printed of a map from the 1800's. I put a hexagonal grid over it and added a just a touch of color. The print I had made is 24 inches by 24 inches with a 1-inch border. One- inch hexes. To the best of my knowledge the map is in the public domain. I cannot find where I got the map from, nor do I know who created it. All I have now is a file of the finished game map. Use it for a Waterloo game or hang it on the wall. Makes a great decoration and conversation piece. All the files I made for the game are below. The game is nearly finished except for editing the combat charts and a rulebook. I have not worked on it for almost ten years. You will have to have it all printed and cut the counters.
Here are all the files I have for my Waterloo game. No rulebook just counter and chart files. Develop the game further on your own. There are a lot of counters to make. The counter files and the OOB files are basically the same thing. All the files below are all eight and a half by eleven inches. Maybe the map could be printed out in four or six sections. Also, the artillery chart, combat results table, and the victory conditions might need to be adjusted. When I set up the counters I broke the cavalry into regiments when I probably should have made brigades. I do not have any way of editing the files now without starting all over.
